What makes Road to Hire different?
Road to Hire is more than just a pathway to a job.
Our program provides mentorship, holistic support, and a deep commitment to every student's success. The long-term pipeline supports students from high school to job placement, focusing on income-generating opportunities, minimal student debt, and wrap-around services. Road to Hire instructors and career coaches stay connected with students beyond graduation – providing hands-on experience and social capital to help them succeed.
The goal is to prepare a talented pool of young adults for Charlotte's premier employers, shaping the future of local communities and the city itself.
High School Success Program
Road to Hire instructors teach foundational life skills, tech skills, and professionalism in Title 1 high schools across Charlotte. Our curriculum sets students up for success as they navigate the college application process and determine their career path.
We meet students early in their education journey and stay with them through their first career milestone.

The Road to Hire Apprenticeships Program offers young adults paid technical training, real-world experience, mentorship, and professional development through a tech apprenticeship. Upon completion, they transition to high-earning careers with premier Charlotte employers.
